any workshop or classroom.
Brief History
Prusa Research, renowned for its
innovative approach to 3D printing, introduced the Prusa Mini in 2019. Born
from the company's commitment to democratizing the technology, the Mini aimed
to make high-quality 3D printing more accessible to a broader audience. Its
compact size and affordable price point quickly made it a favorite among
enthusiasts and educators alike.
Original Prusa i3 MK3S
The Original Prusa i3 MK3S, released
in 2019, epitomizes Prusa Research's dedication to pushing the boundaries of 3D
printing technology. Featuring automatic mesh bed leveling, advanced filament
sensors, and robust construction, it set a new standard for reliability and
performance in the industry. Its reputation for exceptional print quality and
ease of use solidified its position as a top choice for professionals and
hobbyists worldwide.
Original Prusa 3D Printer
Since its inception, the Original
Prusa 3D Printer series has been synonymous with reliability and innovation.
Developed by Josef Prusa, the founder of Prusa Research, this series represents
the culmination of years of refinement and improvement. Its open-source nature
has fostered a vibrant community of users and contributors, driving continuous
advancements in 3D printing technology.
Ready-to-use FDM 3D Printer
Designed for convenience, the Prusa
Mini comes fully assembled and calibrated, eliminating the need for
time-consuming setup procedures. This "ready-to-use" approach allows
users to dive into 3D printing immediately, without the frustration of assembly
or calibration. It's the perfect choice for those who want to start printing
right away without any technical hurdles.
Assembled and Tested
Each Prusa Mini undergoes rigorous
assembly and testing by skilled technicians before leaving the factory. This
meticulous process ensures that every printer meets Prusa Research's high
standards for quality and reliability. From precise calibration to thorough
quality control checks, no detail is overlooked in ensuring that users receive
a printer they can trust.
Removable Print Sheets
The Prusa Mini features removable
print sheets made of flexible steel coated with PEI. This innovative design
simplifies the print removal process by allowing users to easily flex the
sheet, releasing the printed object without the need for scraping or prying.
The PEI coating provides excellent adhesion during printing, resulting in
smoother bottom layers and improved print quality.
Filament Sample Included
To jumpstart users' printing
journey, each Prusa Mini comes with a complimentary filament sample. This
allows users to experiment with different materials and colors right out of the
box, without the need to purchase additional filament separately. It's a
thoughtful inclusion that enhances the overall user experience and encourages
creativity from the start.
Print Size 9.84×8.3×8.3 inch
With a generous print volume of 9.84×8.3×8.3 inches (250×210×210 mm), the Prusa Mini offers ample space for creating a wide range of objects. From intricate prototypes to functional parts, users have the flexibility to bring their ideas to life with ease. This generous build volume opens up a world of possibilities for makers, designers, and educators alike.
Comparison with similar printers
The Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ and its kit version both offer a hassle-free 3D printing experience with features like
automatic calibration, removable print sheets, and included filament samples.
The assembled model provides convenience for users who prefer not to assemble
the printer themselves, while the kit version offers the fun of assembling and
understanding the printer's mechanics.
In comparison, the Dremel DigiLab3D45-01 stands out with its heated build plate, auto 9-point leveling, and
compatibility with various filament types, including Nylon, ECO-ABS, PETG, and
PLA. It's suitable for users seeking versatility and compatibility with a range
of materials.
On the other hand, the R QIDITECHNOLOGY i Fast 3D Printer boasts an industrial-grade structure and dual
extruders for fast printing. With a larger printing size, it caters to users
who require the capability to print larger objects or need faster printing
speeds.
While the Prusa models offer reliable performance and a strong community support system, the Dremel and R QIDI printers provide additional features and capabilities that may be appealing to users with specific printing needs or preferences. Ultimately, the choice depends on factors such as budget, desired features, and intended use cases.

Reliable & Highest Quality 3D
Prints. This printer is incredible. It was so good I bought two more. It is very
reliable and produces the highest quality prints I’ve seen at this price point.
I almost gave up on 3D printing after I had tried to build an Ender print farm
with 14 Ender 3 pros. On a good day 8-9 would run..sort of.
I had two dead MakerBot Minis and
FlashForge. The Prusa(s) took away all my frustrations and now I race to design
products as fast as I can. My second Prusa I pulled out the box and was
printing my files in 5 minutes! Haven’t heard of this level of reliability on a
Bambu Labs printer. Get a Prusa!!

Legit Printer From Prusa. For those
that had a bad experience purchasing this from Amazon, I’d suggest you contact
Prusa or Amazon, because mine arrived in perfect working condition. This is the
legit printer direct from Prusa and built by Prusa.
I contacted Prusa before I clicked
the purchase button, and they said “yes, if it is listed as “shipped and sold
by Amazon”, that is indeed ours and you can register with us and all warranty’s
and discounts on supplies listed on our site will also be linked to your new
machine”.
For those complaining about the
price, yes, it’s more expensive…however, you’re paying for the quicker
experience and free returns. When I purchased this 3 days ago, Prusa had a 2-3
week lead time on fully assembled units. I received this from Amazon in 3-days
and it works perfectly. GREAT PURCHASE - Enjoy & Happy Printing

Absolutely Authentic and Awesome. I
am completely new to 3D printers, this is my first one. After much research I
decided on a Prusa MK3S+ due to the ease of use and it being open source,
however they were backordered 6+ weeks from Prusa. Then I came across this one
on Amazon but the 1 star review, and the fact that there are countless
replicas, worried me.
I decided to go ahead with it,
mainly because it was shipped and sold by Amazon and I have Prime so returns
are easy. I received it in 1 week. Now to answer some questions I had… It is
the + version. It is authentic, it came with the complete tool set, spare parts
bag and even came with the bag of Haribo gummy bears. It is as good as everyone
says.
Within 10 minutes of unboxing it I
was printing my first Benchy, and as you can see it turned out fantastic. I
have been running it pretty much non-stop for 2 days and every piece comes out
great. I have included pics of some of my prints. I have also included a picture
of the registration paper that came with it, notice at the bottom it says to
visit PRUSA/AMAZON. This proves that Prusa is aware of this, and working with
Amazon.
Just to be sure I chatted with Prusa and gave them my serial number and they assured me it was registered and had warranty (I saved that chat session). So ends up it costs a bit more than ordering directly from Prusa (because you do have to pay shipping to US from CZ on a big box from Prusa) but if you catch it in stock you can get it much faster, if that's worth it to you...
