rig currently has a Wingard Traveler on the roof, but the turret motor quit
working. Of course, it is out of warranty. When I figured out what I would have
to do to fix it, not to mention the cost, I decided to go with a portable unit.
This unit was a breeze to set up and has worked flawlessly. This unit is easy
to move around and can be mounted on the roof either permanently or using a
quick-release bracket. However, for now, I simply use a small foldable table to
set it on.

great - simple and easy. As a full-time motorcoach family, we have used a
standard manual 'dish' 1000.2 with a tripod, which can be tricky to learn to
set up and find the sats. I purchased this new King Tailgater when I realized
that setting up a manual dish every day when traveling can be a little too
labor-intensive. I also wanted this unit because it can be mounted to your
roof, either fixed or with a temporary bracket setup that allows me to leave it
where it sits if the sats are in view or easily move it slightly to either side
of the roof, or even down to the ground if needed. This creates a much easier
and more enjoyable setup to watch our favorite channels. Just park, turn on the
receiver, and watch it find the seats.

perfectly. I had the Dish Playmaker and returned it. What a joke! The King is
the way to go. The Playmaker was useless because the bundled Wally was
defective. I returned the first one, and the second one was defective also.
Bought the Tailgater Pro, and what a difference. Had it up and running in 10
minutes.
